Angie’s String Star Quilt

Excited to share an absolutely amazing quilt with you today!!

Angie made this scrappy String Star quilt, which is a FREE block from Corey at Coriander Quilts. She has the tutorial on her blog, check it out here: https://corianderquilts.com/string-star-tutorial/

This is the perfect quilt to use up all those scraps that you have! As you can see the more colorful the better, especially in the variety of strips that are in each star point.

As I was trying to figure out which designs to suggest to Angie, I had the great idea to ask her about my newer Mother of Pearl panto that I designed with Melanie Caldwell from Urban Elementz. I had seen it quilted out recently on a different quilt by another longarmer and was excited to finally have a quilt to quilt it on. Angie told me to choose from the few designs that I suggested because she liked them all… I told her Mother of Pearl could create such great texture! So we went with it, and I am so glad we took that chance. I love it sooo much!
