Have you ever wanted to learn how to freemotion quilt, or increase your freemotion quilting ability? You’re in the right place!! Introducing Quilting It Freemotion, with me Leisha Farnsworth. I have been freemotion quilting for my entire 16+ year career. In each video you’ll learn the basics, which if you practice practice practice…you’ll be well on your way to freemotion and custom quilting. The pace of this course is all up to you. You will receive a PDF document that you can download, it will have a unique Vimeo video link and a password. If you wish to download the videos you’ve purchased, you can off of Vimeo by selecting the title of the video, and then clicking on the download button. The video files are high quality, which makes them pretty large files. You will always have access to them on Vimeo, as long as you keep the link and password.
*The pictures attached to each of the Quilting It Freemotion listings in my shop, are examples of how I’ve quilted quilts using that particular design. Also, notice the variety of designs I've quilted in the picture, all on the same quilt.
In this video I will talk you through doodling, and then take you with me to my quilting machine. In each video I will be quilting on white 45” wide muslin fabric from JoAnn’s, with a layer of 8020 cotton poly blend batting in between, with contrasting navy thread. I encourage you to use scrap fabric or muslin as you are getting started. Refer to pictures in this listing, for quilts that I have quilted grass on.

Disclaimer: The table runner in the promo video is only used in the promo video. In all of my freemotion videos I quilt on white muslin with a contrasting navy thread for easy visibility. The table runner pattern (Pumpkins in a Row) and fabrics are by Fig Tree & Co.

Leisha starts the video with doodling and discussing the scale and flow of the design. She then moves on to actual quilting and shows her entire process.
