Isn’t this Halloween quilt so darling??? Liz wanted a Halloween quilt, so she had her sister Pat help make her one.
The pattern is called Pushing Up Daisies by Vanessa at Lella Boutique. You can find the PDF pattern here: https://lellaboutique.com/collections/pdf-patterns/products/231-pushing-up-daisies-pdf-pattern
When we were talking about panto designs, I showed them a couple of web pantos, and we decided on this super cool one by Molly from Lovely Threads. It’s called Spider Web Fan, and it’s so perfect for this quilt. Spider Web Fan can be found here: https://lovely-threads-quilts.myshopify.com/collections/holiday/products/spider-web-fan
With all the black fabric, we talked about a few different colors of thread and decided on Silver Omni thread from Superior Threads, which blends perfectly on the skulls, flowers, and black background. I used 4 oz bamboo batting from Winline Textiles, which is so soft and the drape is sooo good. Go to: https://www.winlinetextiles.com/winline-100bamboo-s/145.htm
Isn’t that quilty texture sooo good. I love that it’s not a typical spider web. It’s fun, fresh, and modern!
I’m loving the star background fabric. It’s perfect to add a little sparkle to the quilt.
