Louise’s Summer Row Quilt
Before summer officially ends…school starts tomorrow, so it kind of feels like it’s over, I want to share Louise’s Summer Row quilt. That’s not an official pattern name because she used blocks from multiple patterns and made this darling quilt. I’ll do my best to link the different patterns to each of the blocks below.
First off I love the blocks that she chose. They go together so well!!
Let’s pause and look at that darling quilty texture!! More on that in a minute.
I used Natural White Omni thread from Superior Threads, it blends so beautifully!! You can find it here: https://www.superiorthreads.com/omni-3002-natural-white/p/134-02-3002?show=Cones Don’t forget to use my non-affiliate code at checkout “ASTLEISHA” to get 15% off your order.
Louise suggested a couple of designs, and after we talked she decided on our Liberty panto, which I always love to quilt out one of my designs on a client quilt. This design is Patricia Ritter’s and mine, and it’s available at Urban Elementz. Go to: https://www.urbanelementz.com/liberty.html
Liberty is such a darling design! I may be a little biased though. 😄
The houses are from Sherri from A Quilting Life “Home Sweet Home” quilt. You can find it here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1369715403/home-sweet-home-row-quilt-pattern-pdf
The 8-pointed star is also part of Sherri’s pattern. (Pictured above the Liberty panto picture)
Louise said the strawberry blocks were from Fab Farm, I’m not finding a pattern for them though.
She didn’t mention what pattern this star is from, it is appliquéd.
The baskets are from Worktable Block. I couldn’t find a pattern for that one either. So sorry!
I used 8020 batting from Winline Textiles, which is my favorite 8020.
